No pressure. Only write what you want to write.
I did have a really cool thought during my Firefly marathon yesterday... A log entry taken from years ago, showing something of the characters' earlier lives.
For example - ship's log entry from around ten years ago, by either Vex or Souvarine, covering one of the smuggling jobs they did together. Sou could have been Vex' copilot at that point, and maybe the Octopus could have been there too. A little crew of three.
And maybe they ran into a well-dressed man called Alex or similar, who they completely forgot about but who later became Al-Pocalypse.
Might be fun for Al-Poc to have some link to their pasts without them realising it.
Or... An archived log entry from Al-Poc from a similar time, when he ran into the three of them. So the same concept but from the other viewpoint.
Just idle thoughts.

I think the Al-poc past one is a good idea, but for later this year, when the mystery starts to deepen a little.
Though, somewhere in the background shipyard in one of those blog posts, we'll need a random salesman telling commander "Ship like this, be with you till the day you die."
