Big question! There's quite a lot to this, not least choosing a Power in the first place. We are all with Arissa Lavigny-Duval, the current Emperor, because she rewards bounty hunters and her ideology sits well with us from an RP point of view. It would be great if we were all pledged to her but obviously feel free to choose whom you like.
There are some aspects to consider when choosing a power:
- roleplay. They all have different positions on stuff.
- rewards. They all have a shiny toy exclusive to them, like the Imperial Hammers. None of these give a particular advantage but they are fun.
- gameplay. They all encourage and employ different tactics. Some are skewed toward combat, others piracy, others trade etc.
Have a look at them and see what you think!

Go to the galactic powers thing in the nav tab. Pledge to Arissa Lavigney-Duval.
Then have a look at the link I put in the IPEC section.
